At The Bank, we want you to experience the true flavours of India. You may find yourself ordering a hearty dish that adorned our grandmother’s table or a roadside delicacy served with pickles and sauces you’ve never seen before! This was a dish created during the regal days of the British Raj in India and pays tribute to the many regional spices that turn a simple meat curry into a taste sensation. Our team will encourage and suggest dishes that will make your meal, a homely, soulful experience.
Our History
3-5 Station Approach was a prominent bank in Chorleywood from the 1920’s. It was a branch of the National Provincial Bank, which merged with Westminster Bank in 1968, to make the Natwest Bank of today. The Chorleywood branch was burgled in the 1950s and then abruptly shut. Since then, various companies including TV production companies have used the building. Some of the rooms in which you will eat and drink, still keep their original names from the 1920s.

We have introduced traditional Indian dishes alongside modern Indian cuisine, where you will discover new and exciting flavours that are developing in a nation so devoted to its food culture. We want to take you on a journey through these states, so you can discover the whole of India, through exquisite tastes for your palate – and we guarantee you’ll have new favourites!
